End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement explains the rules for downloading, accessing and using the MoyoWangu mobile app, website, platform and related services.

By installing, accessing or using MoyoWangu, you agree to this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not install, access or use MoyoWangu.

This Agreement should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. About MoyoWangu

MoyoWangu is a matchmaking platform created to help Zimbabweans in Zimbabwe and across the diaspora meet genuine people with intention, culture and shared values.

The platform may include registration, profile creation, matchmaking, communication features, verification checks, safety features, subscriptions, paid features and related services.

2. Licence to Use the App

Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the MoyoWangu app on a device that you own or control.

This licence is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

You do not own the app, software, source code, design, branding, content or platform features. You are only given permission to use them in accordance with this Agreement.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MoyoWangu.

By installing or using MoyoWangu, you confirm that:

You are 18 years or older.

You are legally able to enter into this Agreement.

The information you provide is accurate and belongs to you.

You are using the service for genuine personal connections.

You are not prohibited from using the service under any applicable law.

We may suspend, restrict or delete your account if we believe you are underage, unsafe, dishonest or in breach of this Agreement.

4. Account Registration

Some features may require you to create an account, verify your email address or phone number, complete profile details or pass verification checks.

You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.

You must not create a fake account, duplicate account, misleading profile or account using another person’s identity.

You are responsible for keeping your login details, verification links, device and account access secure.

5. One Person, One Account

MoyoWangu is built for real people and genuine connections.

Each person may only create and use one MoyoWangu account unless we give written permission otherwise.

We may use verification checks and account reviews to help detect fake profiles, duplicate accounts, ghost accounts, scams and misuse.

If we believe you have created multiple accounts or provided false information, we may suspend, restrict or delete your account.

6. Verification

MoyoWangu may ask you to complete verification checks. These may include email verification, phone verification, photo verification, liveness checks, ID verification or other safety checks.

Verification helps us improve trust and reduce misuse, but it does not guarantee that a member is safe, compatible, honest or suitable.

You must not submit false, edited, stolen, misleading or fraudulent verification information.

Verification documents and private verification details are not shown publicly on your profile unless clearly stated.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MoyoWangu respectfully, safely and lawfully.

You must not use MoyoWangu to:

Harass, threaten, bully, abuse, exploit or intimidate another person.

Send unwanted sexual, offensive, aggressive or abusive messages.

Create fake, duplicate, misleading or fraudulent profiles.

Impersonate another person.

Upload false, stolen, edited or misleading photos.

Ask members for money, gifts, loans, investments or financial help.

Send scams, phishing links, spam, malware or harmful content.

Collect, scrape, copy or harvest member data.

Share another person’s private information without permission.

Promote escorting, prostitution, trafficking, adult services or illegal sexual activity.

Promote illegal activity, violence, hate, discrimination or harm.

Use the service for commercial advertising, recruitment, political campaigning or unrelated promotion without permission.

Interfere with the security, operation or availability of the app or platform.

Attempt to access accounts, systems, data or features without permission.

We may restrict, suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules.

8. App Restrictions

You must not:

Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where allowed by law.

Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute or commercially exploit the app.

Remove, hide or alter copyright, trademark or proprietary notices.

Bypass, disable or interfere with security, verification, moderation, subscription or access control features.

Use bots, scripts, automation, scraping tools or data-mining tools without permission.

Use the app in a way that could damage, overload or impair our systems.

Use the app to build a competing product or service.

9. Member Content

You are responsible for the content you provide, including profile information, photos, messages, preferences, reports and support requests.

You confirm that you have the right to upload or submit your content.

By submitting content to MoyoWangu, you give us permission to use, store, display, process, moderate and share that content as needed to operate the service, provide matchmaking, display your profile, support communication features, improve the platform and keep members safe.

You must not upload or share content that is false, offensive, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, illegal, defamatory, exploitative, threatening, misleading or harmful.

We may review, hide, reject, edit or remove content that breaches this Agreement or our safety standards.

10. Public Profile Information

Some information you provide may be visible to other members, such as your display name, age or age range, general location, profile photos, relationship intention and selected profile details.

Your full legal name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, ID document and private verification details are not intended to be shown publicly unless you clearly choose to share them.

You should not include private contact details, financial information, passwords or sensitive personal information in public profile sections.

11. Matchmaking and Introductions

MoyoWangu may suggest matches or introductions based on information provided by members, including profile details, preferences, location, cultural background, relationship intentions and other compatibility signals.

Match suggestions are not guarantees of compatibility, relationship success, safety, availability or suitability.

You are responsible for deciding whether to communicate with, meet or continue interacting with another member.

MoyoWangu does not guarantee that you will receive matches, messages, dates, relationships, marriage or any specific outcome.

12. Safety and Offline Meetings

MoyoWangu may help people connect, but we do not control what members do outside the platform.

You are responsible for your own safety when communicating with or meeting another person.

We recommend that you:

Meet in public places.

Tell someone you trust where you are going.

Arrange your own transport.

Avoid sharing sensitive personal or financial information too early.

Do not send money to someone you have met through the platform.

Report suspicious, abusive or unsafe behaviour to us.

13. Paid Features and Subscriptions

MoyoWangu may offer free features, subscriptions, upgrades, premium features, in-app purchases or other paid services.

Prices, benefits and availability may change from time to time.

If you purchase through an app store or third-party payment provider, their payment terms, refund rules and subscription policies may also apply.

Unless required by law or clearly stated otherwise, payments may be non-refundable once access to a paid feature has been provided.

Deleting the app or deleting your account may not automatically cancel subscriptions managed by Google Play, Apple App Store or another third-party provider. You may need to cancel subscriptions directly through that provider.

Paid membership does not guarantee more matches, successful dates, relationships, marriage or any specific result.

14. Updates and Changes

We may update, improve, modify, suspend or remove parts of the app or service at any time.

Some updates may be required for security, compatibility, legal compliance or continued access to the service.

We are not responsible if an older version of the app stops working after an update becomes necessary.

15. Third-Party Services

MoyoWangu may use or connect with third-party services such as app stores, payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, SMS providers, analytics services, verification providers, social login providers or communication tools.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies and rules.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

16. App Store Terms

If you download MoyoWangu from Google Play, Apple App Store or another app distribution platform, you must also comply with that platform’s applicable terms and policies.

The app store provider is not responsible for providing support, maintenance or services for MoyoWangu unless required by its own terms.

Where app store terms conflict with this Agreement, the app store terms may apply only to the extent required by that platform.

17. Intellectual Property

The MoyoWangu name, logo, branding, software, website, app design, graphics, text, features, databases, algorithms and platform content belong to MoyoWangu or its licensors.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, misuse or create derivative works from our intellectual property without written permission.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information.

By using MoyoWangu, you agree that your information may be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

You should read the Privacy Policy together with this Agreement.

19. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, disable or delete your account if:

You breach this Agreement.

You breach our Terms of Service.

You provide false or misleading information.

You fail verification checks.

You create duplicate accounts.

You behave in a way that may put other members at risk.

You misuse the app or platform.

We are required to do so by law.

You may stop using MoyoWangu at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us.

When your account ends, your licence to use the app and service also ends.

20. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that MoyoWangu will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

The app or platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, security issues, third-party failures or events outside our control.

We may limit, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time.

21. No Warranty

MoyoWangu is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties that:

The service will meet your expectations.

The service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

Matches will be compatible, available, genuine or suitable.

You will find a relationship, marriage or any specific outcome.

Member behaviour will always be safe, honest or respectful.

Nothing in this Agreement affects rights that cannot be excluded by law.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoyoWangu is not responsible for any loss, damage, harm, dispute, emotional distress, financial loss, relationship outcome, offline incident or member behaviour arising from your use of the app or platform.

We are not responsible for:

Actions or omissions of other members.

Information provided by other members.

Offline meetings or interactions.

Loss of data caused by your device, account misuse or third-party services.

Service interruptions, app errors or technical issues outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded.

23. Indemnity

You agree to be responsible for any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from:

Your use or misuse of MoyoWangu.

Your breach of this Agreement.

Your content.

Your interaction with other members.

Your violation of any law or third-party rights.

24. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this End User License Agreement from time to time.

When we make changes, we may update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify members.

Your continued use of MoyoWangu after changes are published means you accept the updated Agreement.

25. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another jurisdiction is required by applicable law.

Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless the law requires otherwise.
