Minimum Age Policy
21+ Years Old
MoyoWangu is open only to members aged 21 and above.
You must be at least 21 years old to register, create a profile, use matchmaking features, communicate with members or access any part of the MoyoWangu platform.
If you are under 21, you are not eligible to join MoyoWangu at this stage.
Why MoyoWangu Is 21+
MoyoWangu is not a casual swipe app.
We are building a serious matchmaking platform for people who are looking for intentional relationships, especially those thinking about long-term commitment, marriage, relocation, family, culture and shared values.
Our goal is not to create a space where people collect endless matches, swipe without purpose or treat introductions casually. We want MoyoWangu to be a trusted community where members take each introduction seriously, communicate respectfully and join with genuine relationship intentions.
Setting the minimum age at 21 helps us create a more mature, respectful and focused community.

Why Not 18–20?
At 18–20, many people are still in a very early stage of life. They may be studying, starting work, exploring who they are and still figuring out what they want.
That is completely normal and part of growing up.
However, it can lead to poor matches on a platform designed for marriage-minded introductions, family conversations, relocation possibilities and long-term planning.
MoyoWangu is different from apps that are mainly built around quick attention, casual conversations or entertainment. Our focus is meaningful matchmaking, not casual discovery.
Building Trust for All Members
A 21+ age limit also helps build trust with older members.
Someone aged 35, 40, 50 or above should feel confident that MoyoWangu is a serious matchmaking space, not a platform mixing very young adults with people seeking long-term commitment.
This is especially important for members who are divorced, widowed, have children, live in the diaspora, are open to relocation or are actively looking for a partner with marriage in mind.
These members need a platform that feels mature, safe, culturally respectful and aligned with their stage of life.

By registering or using MoyoWangu, you confirm that:
You are at least 21 years old.
The date of birth you provide is accurate.
You are legally allowed to use a dating or matchmaking service.
You are creating an account for yourself only.
You are not pretending to be older than you are.
Providing a false date of birth is a serious breach of our Terms of Service.
Age Verification
MoyoWangu may ask you to verify your age.
This may include checking your date of birth, reviewing your profile information, requesting photo verification, liveness verification, ID verification or other reasonable checks.
We may ask for verification if:
Your age appears unclear.
Your profile information is inconsistent.
Another member reports an age concern.
Our systems detect suspicious information.
We need to confirm that you are eligible to use the platform.
Verification information is handled carefully and is not shown publicly on your profile.
If We Believe You Are Under 21
If we believe you may be under 21, we may take action to protect the community.
This may include:
Pausing your registration.
Hiding your profile.
Limiting your access.
Asking for age verification.
Suspending your account.
Deleting your account.
Blocking future registration.
If we confirm that you are under 21, your account may be removed.
False Age Information
You must not lie about your age or use another person’s details to create an account.
You must not upload false, edited, stolen or misleading verification documents.
You must not ask someone else to create an account for you.
You must not create a new account after being removed for being underage.
Accounts found using false age information may be suspended or deleted.
Reporting Underage Users
If you believe someone using MoyoWangu is under 21, please report the profile.
You can report age concerns through the app, from the member’s profile, from the chat screen or by contacting us directly.

Please include any helpful details, such as the member’s display name, profile information and why you believe they may be under 21.
Protecting Younger People
MoyoWangu does not knowingly allow anyone under 21 to use the platform.
If we discover that a person under 21 has provided personal information to MoyoWangu, we will take steps to remove the account and delete or limit the related personal information where required and appropriate.
Parents, guardians or responsible adults may contact us if they believe someone under 21 has created a MoyoWangu account.
No Contact With Minors
Members must not use MoyoWangu to contact, groom, exploit or communicate inappropriately with minors.
Any attempt to involve minors in dating, sexual, exploitative, harmful or illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
Serious concerns may be reported to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.
Profile Content and Age
Your profile must honestly represent your age and identity.
You must not:
Use photos from when you were much younger in a misleading way.
Claim to be a different age.
Hide information to mislead other members.
Use someone else’s photos or identity.
Create an account on behalf of someone under 21.
MoyoWangu may remove profiles that appear misleading or unsafe.
